The showroom came about in 2010 providing not only stone but custom cabinets, tile, fixtures and ideas. Kate and Gil found their customers needing a place to go where they could be assisted personally with all aspects of their Kitchens, Baths and Outdoor Spaces. From conception to 3D renderings to installation and completion Milano Granite has transformed into a complete design center allowing customers to work directly with owners and trade professionals.

Yigal "Gil" Hamias

In 2005, Gil founded Milano Granite in Van Nuys, California, located outside the greater Los Angeles area and continued to expand their product/service line. And because of his seen-it-all experience in both the international and domestic markets it has allowed him to work so successfully with design industry professionals and private customers alike to provide feasible design solutions to sketches, dreams and wishes.

Kate Harrison Hamias

Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Kate graduated Summa Cum Laude from American Intercontinental University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts Interior Design and entered into the professional design industry in 2005. Experienced in Residential, Commercial and Hospitality design, her work reflects a sense of comfortable, eclectic, refined style through the uses of texture, color, taste, and courage.
